Location

The Particle Lab has been relocated in the pavilion building at the EAWAG. These two laboratory rooms are now ready for sample preparation and analysis.

The room 16 is dedicated to sample and specimen preparation as the room 18 has all the instruments for the analysis.

Microscopy facility

The microscopy facility is in the basement of the EAWAG main building (A floor). Both SEM and AFM are accessible for all trained persons (room A66.1).

Darkroom and Digitalroom

The darkroom and the digitalroom are installed in the same room (A66.2).

Because most of the prints (micrographs and prints) are nowadays digital pictures, the digitalroom will be permanent and the darkroom will be accessible on request.
